Cap-Blanc District

Located right under the cliff of Cap Diamant, the Cap-Blanc district is surely one of the most overlooked places of Quebec City. Even though it is part of the territory included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, we never really talk about it and we don't show it either.

Yet, this charming little district is worth visiting and offers a unique point of view on the promontory and the Citadel. You can reach it using the Cap Blanc staircase, the longest in Quebec City with 398 steps, which starts on the Plains of Abraham.

The gallery Cap-Blanc District can be found under the tab Quebec City.

Quebec City on the Rooftops

This week, I come back in well-known territory to show the centre of Quebec City as seen from a rooftop located in the historic district. We can clearly see the different changes of lighting, artificial and natural, that take place during the last hours of the day.

You will find the new photos in the album On the Rooftops, located under the tab Quebec City.

Saint-Sauveur District

After exploring the opulent neighborhood of Sillery last week, I wanted to visit the Saint-Sauveur district, traditionnally the working class district of Quebec City.

See the results in the album Saint-Sauveur District, under the tab Quebec City.

Sillery

This week, I continue my exploration of the boroughs of Quebec City with the Sillery district, located in the borough of Sainte-Foy - Sillery - Cap-Rouge. The PPI ratio (Porsche per inhabitant) is probably the highest in the area, I went there three times and I saw a different Porsche car each time, excluding my own... Hmmm.... Oh well, a guy can dream!

You will find the photo gallery named Sillery under the tab Quebec City, including images of the church Saint-Michel-de-Sillery, the Parc-du-Bois-de-Coulonge, the Villa Bagatelle, the Promenade Samuel-de-Champlain and much more.

Next week, I will jump to the other extreme by showing the Saint-Sauveur district. I doubt I will find any Porsches there, but I'm sure to discover some treasures.

Have a good week
